The Baynes family established the Marleycote herd at Marley Cote Walls farm near Slaley in 1932. When others were changing their breed to the Black & White we remained loyal to the breed which had served us so well over the years. Since then we have striven to continue producing high quality milk from a prize-winning herd of Pedigree Dairy Shorthorns and Ayrshires.

The milking herd currently consists of 105 Pedigree Dairy Shorthorns and 20 Pedigree Ayrshires that are milked twice a day. The Marleycote stock are all fed on feed mixed and prepared on site giving us a unique ability to select only top quality feed, and to ensure that no GM foodstuffs are added.

Northumbrian Pedigree milk is available as whole milk, semi-skimmed or skimmed milk, packaged in 2 litre, 1 litre and 500 ml poly bottles.

Our cream is available as double cream, whipping cream or single cream, supplied in 2 litre, 1 litre and 500 ml poly bottles, and also in 10 oz cartons.
